Counselling and therapy helps you resolve and relieve your psychological and mental health-related issues, difficulties, and distress. The process is a way to support you through your challenging times and help you identify your goals and potential solutions to the problems through self-reflection, exploration, and learning new techniques and skills.
However, the process is not limited to mere relieving of the emotional or psychological distress it serves a purpose other than that too. It helps you connect to the parts of yourself that have the potential to come up & thrive. The parts that were left unexplored or unattended till now. The process assists you in reconnecting to those parts & accept them and therefore helps you have an enriching & fulfilling life experience.
I am a counselling psychologist who believes each individual is unique and diverse in every aspect of their lives and so are their lived experiences. I too, am on a journey of self-exploration, developing better self-understanding and self-love, that is what I include in my practice with my clients as well wherein they can reflect upon their journey so far, acknowledge and validate their experiences and challenges in life.
I have received my Masters of Psychology and training for further development of my counseling skills. I am a queer-friendly, trauma-informed therapist who works primarily with client-centered/person-centered approach along with incorporating tools and techniques from various other therapeutic modalities in order to create a personalized course that perfectly suits my clients.
I work with issues related to stress, anxiety, work-related difficulties, interpersonal relationship issues, difficulties with self-exploration, and career-related challenges. I work together with the clients in creating a non-judgmental, safe yet brave space collaboratively that moves towards growth and help them to figure out how their internal dialogue works and also help them bring insight into their own issues because they are the ones that know themselves the best.
